Outreach services provide immediate relief to those facing homelessness each day. These services include rescue referral, access to food, showers, laundry services, outreach, and other basic needs.
We currently have two outreach programs. Click below to learn more about our programs.
South OC Street Outreach is a partnership between Mercy House and a number of South Orange County cities. Our goal of the outreach programs is to develop relationships with those who are experiencing homelessness so that they can receive assistance to navigate community resources. Oftentimes the relationship we develop with clients is the catalyst that leads the clients to accept the help that they desperately need. Staff are able to provide ID vouchers, transportation assistance, and other material goods in addition to resource referrals.
