Bethany Residence

The Bethany House program was originally founded by Sister Louise Micek, CSJ in 1997 as a ministry of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange.

Beginning in July 1, 2013, Mercy House partnered with the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange to continue the program and expand our system of care to provide transitional housing and services to  homeless single women.

The transitional shelter program houses 14 single women annually and provides case management and supportive services to help the women become self-sufficient and graduate successfully into permanent housing.

As of July 1, 2019, Mercy House converted the program to a permanent housing facility
