About This Region

Mercy House operates the New Hope Emergency Shelter located in Bellflower, CA to provide emergency shelter and services to single men and single women seeking short-term services. We are proud to be able to support the most underserved populations of Los Angeles County through our necessary services in assisting individuals to get back on their feet following a short stint of living homeless. Los Angeles County has been one of our long-time partners and we appreciate their continued support in our programs.

Lake House is Mercy House's 1st supportive housing project in LA County that offers 62 units of housing serving homeless and chronically homeless households, including units designated for individuals affected by a severe mental illness. Services are provided by The Center in Hollywood.

The New Hope Shelter was Mercy House's first program in Los Angeles County. New Hope provides emergency shelter for men and women, and shuttles to transport clients to numerous locations in Bellflower. This is not a walk-up facility.
