Simply stated, we help people find their way back home. But nothing about ending homelessness is simple. Each person’s journey back home is as unique as they are. In our 35+ years on the job, we have learned that focusing on effective solutions for each person struggling with homelessness or housing insecurity requires a range of programs, solutions, partners, and a whole lot of heart.
We work with families and individuals to find and obtain permanent housing as rapidly as possible. Upon entry, every client is connected to a Housing Navigator, who works with them to identify what’s needed to establish permanent housing. Our clients also receive meals, showers, access to life skills, and additional support. These housing communities provide shelter and a range of services including a culinary arts job training program, on-site medical centers, and a variety of other supportive services.
Focusing on one of America’s greatest needs—affordable housing—we provide Permanent and Permanent Supportive Housing to qualified households, giving families, veterans, and individuals a second chance at establishing a home and creating a life of self-sufficiency and success.
We offer assistance to low-income families and individuals to prevent homelessness. Our services include short-term rental assistance and support within our housing communities to maintain stability. 91% of our clients served in the past five years have not re-entered the homeless system. Our programs are designed to ensure that people remain housed.
